I’ve been doing this affiliate marketing thing online since 2006 and tried a number of programs which promises get rick quick deals. My journey began with a desire to achieve financial freedom and to earn money even while I sleep.

It all started back in early 2006 when I stumbled upon a website which probably is obsolete by now. It describes the basics of affiliate marketing. Perhaps you’ve heard about it. Its called power affiliate marketing. Or something like that.

Mind you that night I was sitting in front of my PC thinking (with my heart pounding so wildly in my chest!) that it could well be my next big break.

If you think that I bought it and studied it, you’re wrong. I bought it at about $97 and didn’t do a single thing! Yes, you got it right. My excitement soon died off about making my first real money online.

Hey, everyone starts out being a total “green machine”. Anyway, I didn’t really get serious until April of 2006 when I attended a seminar which you might also have heard of, “Rich Dad’s Financial Mastery”. Robert Kiyosaki was my first inspiration to my start to building wealth early.

You can say that the tag, “the rich don’t work for money, they have money work for them” really awakened something in me

The whole journey of 2006 was really like a roller coaster and you could certainly identity with me when I mention that I tried everything. From network marketing programs right up to ponzi schemes promising you a “return on investment”.

Pretty soon, I quickly figured out that wandering around the Internet without a clear focus and vision except for a desire to make money just don’t cut it. It was probably in the beginning of 2007 when I ventured into real world affiliate marketing with the help of a friend of mine, Patrick.

That’s when my marketing campaigns really took off and I mean real money started to pour in just by being focused. Taking calculated risks and keeping myself updated on the latest musings of many other honest marketers. I’m happy that today I’m not only able to provide for my family but also to be able to spend as much time as I want with them.

My point is, I’m really fed-up with all the hype and false hopes created by some affiliate marketers online. Heck, some people that I know practically lives on hype alone to make a living! That is where this blog comes in. It is to sincerely help you make real money using simple proven marketing methods.

If I ever do promote a product, you can rest assure that I’ve bought it, tried it and tested it before recommending it to you.
