How To Plan for An Internet Advertising And Marketing Package
January 16, 2008
For the past week or so I’ve been launching a new Internet advertising and marketing campaign. If that wasn’t enough I’m not shy to say that I’ve been paying tons for Google Adwords but…
I’ve got good news. I’ve discovered a really cool advertising center to place your advertisements. It works and I’ve tested it.
Let’s start with the very basics.
For illustration sake I’m not going to pitch you but the Internet advertising and marketing package which I chose was CAC. Stands for classified ad central. First of all, I want to tell you that if there was someone who really hated paying for a bunch of traffic thats me.
Back in 2007, most of my traffic generation tactics focused on article marketing or mainly via forums and the like. I’ve got good traffic yes but call this a “paradigm shift”. Since I’ve incorporated this new strategy the feeling is just so relaxing.
All I did was this:
- Set up a capture page or simple 1 page website (3 days)
- Tweak my autoresponder campaigns and line them up to my personality (10 mins a day)
- Record my personal welcome audio message (took me only 15 minutes)
- Setup my trackers to check conversion standards (10 minutes)
- Watch my results pour in like rain!
You see there’s really nothing to it once you focus on making your first week a “preparation phase”. Now, my Internet advertising and marketing campaign is not perfect in anyway. But the best thing that I did was set it up, launch it and tweak along the way.
Okay, here’s a little cheat sheet.
I didn’t do nothing for writing the solo ad copy (you know, the email that goes out to prospects) nor the message. All I did was give my website URL to the guys over at CAC and they designed my ad for me.
All in less than 72 hours. What more could I ask for?
If you seriously want to free up more time for yourself, your family or your more crucial priorities in your marketing activities then advertising is the way to go. Honestly, in my humble opinion Classified Ad Central costs a little more than usual ads but hey… quality comes with a price. So, I choose quality.

Hi Vern,
I was wondering if you are getting any results from the CAC ad you put in? I sign up fo 10000 guranteed names but so far the hits are quite low. I wonder if it is any good? I emailed the guy and he said I would probably get one hit per 500 clicks…
Love to hear from you…
btw have your heard of the RFS system? Are you on it? I signed and dished out about 3.5k to buy a full system. Looks real cool, all the copy has been written, the responders built, even the prequalification done for you. I was impressive and if you haven’t, would llike to give it a spin?
EDIT: [sorry, reserve for blog links and other relevant sites only]
Appreciate your frank opinion and suggestions!!
with gratitude,

Hi Bruce,
Yes, I am getting results with CAC. But I have to tell you that I got the “Ultimate Ad Package”. Its like $299. So, sorry I can’t comment much about the 10,000 guaranteed names.
Also, 1 tip: your amount of visitors could also depend on what kind of people you want to reach out to. So, if those visitors are not looking for what you have to offer then you might get a little less clicks than you wanted.
By the way, I probably should tell you this. You can save yourself some good money if you become an affiliate of CAC directly. Buy your own ads and you earn on your own commissions. Try it out Bruce….
As for RFS, yes I have heard of it. At the moment I’m more focused on other affiliate programs so I can’t really comment much. Though, I always think that any program or opportunity is a good one.
It just depends on how you work it to make it really profitable.
Hope to hear more from you about your own affiliate journey too.
Cheers,
Vern
